Carabo Cup, today’s results: Man United violently ahead, Fulham and Everton surprisingly out

In the matches that took place this evening for the third round of Carabao Cup 2024-25the big teams do not encounter any critical issues and fly to the next round of the competition, with the exception of the Fulham. I Cottagers in fact they were forced to chase Preston after Ledson’s goal, equalising the score with Nelson (61′), stretching the “broth” until the penalties. An agony for The Whites who continued to hit until the fifteenth penalty and the fatal error by the former Atalanta player Castagne.

Spotless and sparkling the Manchester United Erik ten Hag instead, who gave himself a great evening and a 7-0 to remember against Barnsley (a brace from Rashford and a hat-trick from Garnacho among other goals). Everything went smoothly and with a short-lived thrill for Crystal Palace instead, QPR eliminated together with Blackpool.

Sheffield Wednesday progress to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup alongside Brenford. The trio of penalties Stoke win, Everton knocked out by Southampton after former Inter player Young failed to score.
