Kvara is the subject of repeated and systematic fouls. In Verona he was forced to leave the pitch, in Cagliari they were not sanctioned: what do you think? It is one of the questions asked in the press conference Anthony Contecoach of the Naples that two days before the challenge against the Juventus – match valid for the fifth day of Serie A – responded as follows: “I hate violent play, even as a footballer I have never allowed myself to make a tackle to hurt, it’s not manly. I have never allowed myself to ‘kick him straight away to scare him’ to one of my players, and before the situation was more rustic. Maybe that’s what happened in Cagliari after 30 seconds with an intimidating foul, there the referees shouldn’t be afraid to give a yellow. It can happen after a second or in the 95th minute, it’s an intentional foul where you put the player’s safety at risk. I don’t think he wanted to hurt him, I don’t even want to think about it, but the yellow was there and in those cases you have to sanction also to defend those who have talent and the game”.
Then in another passage he added: “We are all working hard to find the right balance, those who have time should not wait for time, every match is worth three points. We are all looking for the balance but there is also the need to see good performances and get points because these are worth at the end of the year. I expect to give continuity, to grow, from many points of view, not to stop to think about what the last match was and not to delude ourselves because every single match for us is a test”.
