Resounding goal fest by Bayern Munich in the first match of the 2024/25 Champions League. The Bavarian team prevailed in the home game against Dinamo Zagreb with an incredible 9-2. After closing the first half with a three-goal lead, Kompany’s team conceded two goals at the start of the second half, but then took off thanks in part to four goals from Harry Kane.
In addition to the poker of the English centre forward who scored three of the four goals from the penalty spot, Guerreiro, Olise (two), Sanè and Goretzka, author of the final 9-2, also found the net. Bruno Petkovic and Takuya Ogiwara scored for the Croatian team between the 49th and 50th minutes.
