Juventus, Locatelli: “Shame about the goal conceded at the end, we could have kept the ball longer”

Manuel LocatelliJuventus midfielder, analyses this to the microphones of Sky Sports the 3-1 victory in the first Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven: “We’re sorry we conceded the goal in the final. We could have done better in possession, especially in the second half, but it’s clearly a positive result to start the Champions League.”

Was PSV not very dangerous?
“I’m happy, we played a good game. We were very closed between the lines and then when we start again we have great players up front who can beat the man. We could have kept the ball more, but all in all it was a good game.”

How important was your work in the defensive phase?
“We have to be aggressive, I have to be careful about climbing to cover the gaps left by my teammates. In the end, when you have a man, you have to keep him and stay with him.”
