There was a time when Andrea Belotti was worth around 100 million euros. At least for Urbano Cairo, president of Torino, who had rejected an offer of more than 60 million for his transfer from Milan. It was Fassone’s time, a geological era ago, with Gallo who was a relentless scorer and seemed destined to take over the national team for about ten years. It did so, at various levels, but without managing to make the extra leap that everyone expected. Indeed, the involution led him first to expire with Torino, then signing with Roma after some time (and no concrete proposals from other big names). Two years of more lows than highs, then Fiorentina: even in Viola it didn’t go very well.
Now there is Como. One goal in nine appearances, 298 minutes played, but the problem is that Belotti lost his starting place in a very short time. With Cutrone remaining at the center of the attack, with Nico Paz as the starter and above all Fadera, taken from Genk in the summer and who has never scored more than seven goals with Zulte Waregem in his career.
