Pietro Terracciano may have a change of scenery in January. In the summer, the Fiorentina goalkeeper had several options for his future – such as Monza – but then he preferred to stay in Tuscany to try to compete with David De Gea. Also because over the course of the seasons he had managed, as second, to gain ownership against Dragowski, Gollini and Christensen, who started out as number one and then inexorably ended up on the bench. A caliber however (very) different from that of the former Manchester United, who in his first part of the purple bracket showed off extraordinary performances one after the other, completely conquering the role by popular acclaim.
So Terracciano is now at the window. The club is focusing on the young Martinelli and can use Christensen as a third. The Dane receives 800 thousand euros a year and, for now, is fourth. Instead the young man, born in 2006, is considered a possible prospect for the future, with De Gea also eyeing the role of mother hen next season.
It remains to be seen which club could bet on him, considering that the salary is over a million per season. It is possible that Cagliari will try to ask for information in the coming weeks, looking after Simone Scuffet’s latest disappointing performances.
