W Champions League, the big teams don’t slide: Barça forces 7. City and Bayern with full points

No surprises in the matches of the third day of the Women’s Champions League played today. In the afternoon, Juventus fell badly at home against an Arsenal who proved to be too strong and with a longer bench than the Bianconeri, resulting in a poker at the end of a match dominated for long stretches. Demonstration of strength also from Barcelona who scored seven against the Austrians of St. Polten, closing the practice in a half in which they also scored Aitana Bonmatì fresh from the second Golden Ball on the board.

In the evening, a clear victory for Bayern Munich which continues its clear progress in the Juventus group: against Valerenga, goals from Harder and Gwinn in a quarter of an hour were enough to close the proceedings with the final seal signed by a great goal from Sarah Zadrazil. Finally, the match between Manchester City and Hammarby was more balanced with the English team winning 2-0.
