After his painful farewell to Newcastle, the club where he grew up and with which he played 213 games, Paul Dummett starts again from League One, the English third series. The Welsh defender, who has been a free agent since July, has signed a “short-term” contract with Wigan.

Dummett, 33 years old, will in fact stay until January 31st to give his new team the opportunity to evaluate his form and decide whether to continue the adventure together. He already made his debut on Saturday in the 1-0 defeat against Wycombe.
