Pedro show in Europe with Lazio: “But there are other matches to go and the journey is still long”

Lazio’s perfect run in the Europa League continueswith the Biancocelesti beating Porto 2-1 in injury time at the Olimpico and achieving their fourth victory in as many matches: direct qualification for the round of 16 ever closer. Lazio were ahead in full stoppage time (50′) with a header from Romagnoli, the guests equalized in the 66th minute with Eustaquio, but the timeless Pedro found the winning three-point play in the 92nd minute.

These are the words of Pedrothe protagonist of Lazio and of the evening, released at the end of the match on the official UEFA channels: “It’s very nice to win like this and it’s very important for us, because Porto is a very strong and physical team, with good and important players. We had a good performance and it’s a good evening for everyone, we need to take advantage of this moment and continue like this. Is this victory a very important step for us to qualify for? It’s too early to consider the objective achieved because they are missing more matches and the journey is still long.”
