Viktor Gyokeres can leave Sporting CP for £63 million sometime next summer. The indiscretion comes from England and must therefore be read with due caution, but the Swedish striker has a large market in the Premier League and, according to the Telegraphcould say goodbye to Lisbon “at a sale price” in 2025-2026. A lot of money, but not too much, given that in the agreement between Gyokeres and the green and whites there is currently a termination clause worth an extra 20 million pounds.
Manchester United and Chelsea in pole position
While waiting for a market that will see him as a protagonist, the 26-year-old striker continues to do what he does best: scoring heavy, very heavy goals. The sights of the big names in half of Europe can only be focused on him, with two teams at the top of the list – this time the source is the Daily Star – which respond to the names of Chelsea and Manchester United. Both are looking for a center forward to capitalize on their game, both inevitably look at Sporting at home.
Gyokeres’ performance this season
The boy born in Stockholm is off to a great start and is currently the best of the great center forwards playing on our continent: in 17 matches he has already scored 23 goals and 4 assists, punishing practically all the opponents he has met so far. The latest scalp is truly excellent, because his hat-trick scored the day before yesterday demolished Haaland’s Manchester City (who instead missed a penalty). Only PSV and Estoril resisted his fury, as did Slovakia among the national teams.
