You played your last match in Italy against Lazio, what match will tomorrow be?
“My last match here was against Lazio, it was a very difficult match as always, very tactical and it will be a tough opponent for us to face.”

Who do you prefer to play alongside?
“I get along well with all the defenders, each with their own characteristics. I get along better when I play on the right, but I adapt to where I’m asked to play. We are all strong players and we can do our best.”

Given the ranking, is tomorrow’s match decisive?
“I don’t think it’s decisive, but it’s very important. In this club you have to win every match, we’ve prepared 100% for tomorrow’s match and we’ll give our all. It won’t be a decisive match, but it will be important to face it as best we can.”

Is coming to Porto a winning bet given Argentina’s call-up?
“From the first day I learned of their interest I pushed to come here. For me it was a goal to return to the national team, it’s a reward for my efforts but without the contribution of my teammates and the coach I would never have gotten there.”

Many Argentinians have done well for Porto, what effect does wearing this shirt have on you?
“I’ve said it since day one, there are many Argentine players who have written important pages here at Porto. I will try to carve out my history here.”

You will find Castellanos again in the national team, what kind of duel will tomorrow be?
“Taty is a great player, I played with him with the under 23s, I know him and we are friends. He is a great player and I will have to do my best to counter him. Lazio have a very strong attack, not just one player and we will have to counter the entire offensive phase of Lazio”.

What environment do you expect tomorrow at the Olimpico? What impression did Baroni’s Lazio make on you in the match against Udinese?
“We are prepared to face this match, these are the beautiful matches to play and the ones you dream of playing as a child. We are not afraid, we are here to do our best. I remember well the last match played in Italy, Udinese also did a great match. Now Lazio is doing very well, I continue to follow Serie A with great interest but we are ready to play our match.”
