Women’s Italian Cup – Inter need extra time to reach the quarter-finals: the results

Having archived the efforts of the championship with the past weekend, women’s football returned to the field yesterday, with the first match of the Round of 16 of the Italian Cupwhich saw the resounding victory of coach Gianluca Grassadonia’s Lazio Women against Como (7-2 final match); today, all the other matches scheduled, which, we remember, are played in a single match and offer access to the next step of the competition parallel to the championship.

The matches which started at 2.30pm and which saw three away victories, those of Fiorentina, Sassuolo and Milan, have recently concluded: the Women’s Serie A therefore moves forward in the competition. But if the aforementioned matches ended in regulation time, the match between Parma and Inter ended in extra time; fatal for the ducal team, considering that the Nerazzurri took the place to the quarter-finals.
