Champions League, partial results: Girona blackout, 2-0 down with PSV. Dinamo Zagreb ok

The first halves of today’s two Champions League matches at 6.45pm have concluded, matches valid for the 4th day of the competition. PSV Eindhoven took the lead for the quarter of an hour of play on the throw-in and a rugby strike for Flamingo’s winning pass on Girona’s dozing defence. Michel’s crew messed up in the 33rd minute and Tillman burst into the area undisturbed to extend the lead to 2-0.

Slovan Bratislava takes the lead for the first time in this edition of the tournament: Strelec, as a predator in the area, collects a rebound on the goal line. Dinamo Zagreb immediately equalised, breaking through to the near post with Spikic in the 10th minute. With Pjaca’s lunge and an impeccable cross he finds Sucic to make it 2-1.
