Mkhitaryan: “If my body allows me, I’ll be at Inter until 2026. Never in Saudi Arabia”

The midfielder ofInter Henrikh Mkhitaryan he gave an interview to ARMTv, the Armenian national network, and expressed himself as follows regarding his future: “I still have a two-year contract with Inter, until 2026. I’ll see if my physique allows me to honor that agreement, at the moment I don’t see myself anywhere else. Then we will think about whether to continue here, go to other clubs or reflect on my career.”

Subsequently, the former Roma player spoke about winning the Scudetto: “I waited a long time for the scudetto, it’s a precious trophy. I’m very happy because not everyone manages to win it at 35, but I won’t rest on this result. For a player of this age it’s a bit difficult to always play: I try to rest well, train well, I try to give my best.

During the back-and-forth Mkhitaryan closed down a possible future in Saudi Arabia: “By bringing strong players, the Saudi Pro League is trying to develop football and strengthen the league, but I see it negatively because money is not important in this sport. Love for football is important. I always had that love since I first touched the ball. I have always loved football for the game, not for the money. That door is closed for me and I don’t even want to because the level of European football, the warmth and attitude of the fans are completely different.”
