Failure to pay fees to members: Taranto and Turris referred. The note from the FIGC

The Federal Prosecutor, following a report from Co.Vi.So.C., referred Taranto FC 1927 and Turris Calcio (Group C of Serie C) to the National Federal Court Disciplinary Section for a series of violations of an administrative nature.

TARANTO. Massimo Giove and Salvatore Alfonso, respectively special prosecutor and sole director of Taranto FC 1927, were referred for failing to pay, by the deadline of 16 October 2024, the emoluments due to members, employees and collaborators involved in the sector sportsman with ratified contracts for the months of July and August 2024.

The two managers were also referred for not having made, by the deadline of 16 October 2024, the payment for the months of July and August 2024 of the Irpef withholdings and the INPS contributions relating to the emoluments due to members, employees and collaborators involved in the sports sector with ratified contracts as well as the payment of two installments of the repayment plan granted by INPS for a previous debt relating to the period July 2021-February 2023. The company was referred for direct and proper liability for the violations disciplinary measures ascribed to their legal representatives pro tempore.

TURRIS. Antonio Piedepalumbo, sole director of Turris Calcio at the time of the events, was referred for failing to pay, by the deadline of 16 October 2024, the Irpef withholdings and the INPS contributions relating to emoluments, including the incentive agreements for ‘exodus, due in favor of members, employees and collaborators in the sports sector with ratified contracts, for the months of July and August 2024 and for not having deposited with Co.Vi.So.C. the receipted F24 models. Ciro Giardino and Simone Onofrio Magliacano, respectively registered manager for Turris Calcio and sole auditor of the company, were referred for having, on 16 October 2024, signed and deposited with Co.Vi.So.C. a statement certifying untrue circumstances. The company was held responsible for the disciplinary violations attributed to its pro-tempore legal representatives.
