Rome, Soule: “The goal was a liberation, but I preferred to win. We have to get up immediately”

Matias Soule, Roma striker, at the microphones of Dazn he spoke like this after the first goal for the Giallorossi in the defeat against Verona: “I’m not at all happy with the goal, I clearly preferred the points. It was a match that we had to win, like others, but it didn’t go that way. We would have deserved more, we have to get back up immediately. The goal was a personal liberation, but I didn’t expect to lose. I have to do more, I’m aware of this and we have to get back together to get out of this situation with work.”

On the ups and downs: “I think it’s in the moments of a match where we have to grow and improve, we shouldn’t lower ourselves when we’re winning and then if we go behind we have to be better at reading. That’s what we’re missing. Sometimes we start well, leading the game as protagonists; something always happens that makes us fall out of nowhere.”
