Bournemouth feat against Manchester City, Iraola: “We played better than them”

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraolaspeaking into the microphones of Sky Sportscommented on the extraordinary victory against Manchester City (which, in his career, is reminiscent of the one against Real Madrid when he coached Rayo Vallecano): “It’s a bit similar. When you beat Real Madrid, it’s a bit similar .You know you have to be at your best level and wait until they don’t have their best day.

“We had to feel the pressure and in the end it was tough. I’m very happy, it’s one thing to beat City, it’s another to play better. We played without fear, we tried to press when we could and defend when we had to. It was dangerous in the last 10 minutes. You don’t have any fun, there was so much pressure.”

On Milos Kerkez: “He has to continue, he’s so young. He needs to gain experience to become more mature in defence. He gives a lot of attacking volume, today he made two assists.”

On Evanilson: “He’s a good signing. Everyone is happy when he scores. I think his performances were very good. He did well against Arsenal and we want to see more.”
