As can be read on the club’s official channels, the Sassuolo announces that from this afternoon a new social responsibility initiative will be born, called “A goal on all fours”; the club, in fact, will collaborate with the Punto & Virgola kennel and cattery, to promote the adoption of dogs and cats present at the intermunicipal structure of Magreta-Formigine (MO).
As per the note, “another initiative supported by Sassuolo Calcio to contribute to the valorisation of the territory and to raise awareness of the adoption of dogs and cats hosted at the cat shelter. For several years now, Punto & Virgola has hosted animals from the municipalities of Fiorano Modenese, Formigine, Maranello and Sassuolo, is located in an area of 25,000 m2 and currently hosts around 100 dogs and 80 cats.
Starting from the month of November, the Neroverdi footballers will present, through the club’s official channels, some of the four-legged friends who are looking for safe accommodation, a family available and happy to welcome them into their home. Many of the animals present in the intermunicipal kennel have had a difficult past made up of abandonment, mistreatment and illnesses and therefore adoption is the first step in offering them a new life and new opportunities” (CLICK HERE for more information on adoptions and people to contact).
