After the home defeat against the Pinetowhich brought the number of defeats to six in 11 days, the coach of Milan Future, Daniele Boneramade some statements at a press conference.
“We managed ball possession well in the first 45 minutes, then their goal changed the flow of the match. I can complain that we are finding few solutions in attack, but we are working on this. The progress is still positive, and I’m already thinking about the match against Pontedera. We knew we could encounter difficulties, it’s part of the boys’ growth. After the victory in Perugia we were obviously excited and ready to face this challenge in the best possible way. As far as I’m concerned, our commitment daily doesn’t change; I’m already motivated for the match against Pontedera.”
On the topic of too many expulsions (5 in the last 4 matches) he then stated: “I think that the expulsion in this match, with the unbalanced team, was an episode of the game, and I have no intention of blaming anyone I’m more annoyed by the expulsions due to the protests; the current one, however, is a situation on the field that anyone who has played football knows can happen.”
Asked if the defeat against Pineto reminded him of the First Team’s defeat against Napoli, Bonera commented: “Yes, in fact there may be some similarities, it’s a shame for the result of both teams. I think that when you play a offensive football, we should also be able to be effective; we have succeeded, but I am convinced that our path, like that of the first team, is the right one.”
