Inter, Frattesi: “The second goal is something we try and do almost by heart”

Inter won 3-0 at Empoli thanks above all to the brace scored by Davide Frattesiwith the final goal from Lautaro Martinez. The Italian midfielder, on the club’s official channels, commented on the match as follows: “We hope to continue like this. If the victory comes even better, I’m happy with this reaction”.

One of your greatest characteristics is this fire, this desire to smash everything when you enter the pitch. How difficult is it to manage this thing?
“Having three games a week you mentally think you’re never tired even if you actually are.”

You said that thanks to the national team you have improved a lot, how much is playing in two different environments helping you? How much do you feel you have grown in the last year and what do you think you can still improve on?
“In my opinion I still have a lot of room to improve. I will continue to work on this until it becomes one of my main characteristics.”

On the second goal, is it a goal from an advanced midfielder or almost from an attacker?
“The movement is a bit more like a midfielder than a striker. Lauti was good but these are things we try and do almost by heart, so it’s not the first time I’ve found myself in that position. It was something I tried and I think it’s a more midfielder’s movement.”

Dinner offered for the whole team after this double?
“Yes, pizzas.”
