Big night for Fiorentina, resounding 5-1 over Roma. Palladino, however, flies low

Great night for Fiorentina, or rather, a great night. The match that saw the Viola face Roma and closed the program of the 9th matchday of Serie A elevated the lilies to the altar of the contenders for the most noble areas of the championship. Qualifying for Europe is the goal, if it could also be from the front door… Certainly the resounding 5-1 defeat against Roma allows us to dream big.

The great ex of the match stands out on the bench of the best on the pitchalready announced protagonist of the eve and true MVP of the Franchi, the living regret Edoardo Bove. His performance was simply impressive, 8.5 on his report card, driven by a competitive fury perhaps of someone who had something to prove to his home team and of his heart, from which he was dumped with a little too much haste and with whom he wanted to sort out the unresolved accounts.

Palladino, however, has no intention of rising too high from the groundwants his players’ feet and heads to be well anchored to the ground and to the present: “I would be lying if I didn’t say that I was happy. I asked the boys for a great performance and they delivered it, they gave me great joy At the end of the match I gathered them in midfield and told them that this was the best victory I’ve had in Serie A. Truly a great match. But there will come times when we won’t be able to do everything and balance will be needed there.”
