Gianfelice Facchetti: “There’s a healthy competitiveness between Inter and Juve. I would have liked Vialli to be Nerazzurri”

“To watch a high-level match between the two most important teams in Italy, I had to make a lot of effort. This is my first memory of a match between Inter and Juventus.” Talking is Gianfelice Facchettison of Giacinto, interviewed by Sky a few minutes before kick-off Inter-Juventus: “The big games, against the strongest teams, my father made difficult to watch. When I got older, I was able to go and watch one of these games.”

What would dad think of today’s Inter-Juventus?
“Each of us is fascinated by the new and different styles of play. However, I believe that a healthy competitiveness persists, which is essential for football.”

Which player would you have wanted at Inter?
“During a conversation with friends, Michel Platini’s abandonment of football was discussed again. It’s difficult for me to choose, but I say Gianluca Vialli, an athlete loved by everyone. He is the type of player that every fan would like to see I always remember wearing the shirt of my favorite team with great affection.”
