Parma report cards – Charpentier changes the face of the match, Hernani badly

Final result: Parma-Empoli 1-1

PARMA

Suzuki 5.5 – He can’t do anything about Empoli’s goal, not enough due to some out-of-time exits.

Coulibaly 5 – A great defensive diagonal to prevent Colombo from taking the lead, then an own goal which affects morale and his performance, as he stops pushing. Better in the second half.

Delprato 5.5 – Average between first and second half. In great trouble at the start, when Colombo and Fazzini appear from all sides without him ever managing to take countermeasures. He grows in the second half and intelligently manages the yellow that could have had a lot of weight. A couple of nice finishes on Pellegri.

Balogh 6 – A great intervention at the start of the second half, perfect closure on Colombo launched into the net. The best of the back pack.

Valeri 6 – Rather timid first half, in the long run however we see again that pushy full-back who had conquered Cremona and who seemed to be in the orbit of some top Italian clubs. He provided the assist for the final 1-1 goal.

Bernabé 5.5 – D’Aversa cages him and sets up a real man-marking, especially at the beginning he struggles and forces a few too many plays, triggering the counterattack. A great intervention by Vasquez denies him the joy of scoring. From 82′ Mihaila sv.

Hernani 4.5 – The worst performance of his season, his quality in the construction phase is so lacking. Even a late substitution, from the first minutes it seemed clear that it was a bad day. From 55′ Amqvist 6 – It takes him a while to get into the game, but he participates in the final assault, winning a penalty kick with stubbornness and speed. It’s always a factor during the race.

Man 5 – Bad day for him too, closed in great fashion by the Empoli defenders and never in the thick of the game. It’s no coincidence that he stays in the locker room at halftime. From the 45’st Charpentier 7 – Perhaps an underrated footballer, but who always does his part when called upon. Very valuable defensive work for his teammates, then the equalizer and a wonderful assist for Almqvist which was worth the penalty for the potential 2-1.

Sohm 5 – Many errors in the setup phase, every time he takes the ball he gives the feeling of not being lucid. A clear step backwards.

Chancellors 5.5 – He would have brought Tardini down with a space play at the end of the first half: stop, dribbling and perfect shot, Vasquez prays and accompanies the ball to the crossbar with his gaze. Single flash on a dark day. From 55′ Keita 6.5 – For him too, an excellent approach and forty minutes of quality and quantity.

Bonnie 4.5 – To an already negative match he adds the blemish of a badly kicked penalty which takes two points away from Parma.

Fabio Pecchia 6 – In the renewal week he takes a point and wins his third draw in a row. There’s something to think about for a bad first half, very good in the second half. Get the changes right.
