It had been in the air for a few weeks, or since he started training with the Polignano a Mare team, and now it’s also official: Cristian Galano starts again from Eccellenza and Polimnia Calcio. This is the club’s note announcing a major market coup for the category:
“Cristian Galano will play for us! The 33-year-old attacking winger, born in Foggia on 1 April 1991, has reached an agreement with Polimnia Calcio, with whom he has already been training for about ten days. A great coup from the red-green club who has secured the performance of a talented footballer, a true luxury for the category, and who boasts over 350 appearances in professional championships. He will be available to Mister Anaclerio for the next home match on Sunday 27th with Galatina.
Galano made 312 appearances in Serie B, scoring 69 goals for Bari, Pescara, Foggia and Vicenza.. With Bari he played 9 championships. Last season he played in Serie C with Brindisi: overall in the third national series he played 55 games (5 goals).
An important transfer operation which confirms the ambitions of the rossoverde club and made possible thanks to the precious collaboration of the entrepreneur Modesto Scagliusi who becomes part of the rossoverde family.
Galano will be presented tomorrow to the media and fans: appointment at 6pm at the Madonna d’Altomare sports field”.
