Catanzaro, Brighenti: “We have all it takes to do well. Renewal? We’re almost there”

Nicolò Brighenti, defender and vice-captain of Catanzaro, expresses confidence despite a slow start to the championship. “I’m happy because I see my teammates growing and finding chemistry. We are aware of our potential and we have all it takes to do well.”

Regarding draws, Brighenti observes that “in many matches the victory was overlooked due to details. We worked on these aspects and now we know that we have to win, but without pressing ourselves. It is important to maintain clarity and balance”.

On the recent match against Bari, he states: “It gave us awareness. Playing at San Nicola is always difficult, but we fought head-on and we need to consolidate the positive aspects.”

Regarding his contract, Brighenti is optimistic: “The renewal is almost finalized. I am happy to continue here and I thank the club for their trust. It is a source of pride for me and I want to continue to give my best.”

Speaking about the team led by Fabio Caserta, he clarifies:
“I didn’t perceive any internal problems. There have been changes, but we are growing together. The important thing is the good of Catanzaro and we all work to obtain results.”

Brighenti concludes on the match against Sudtirol: “It will be a challenging match. They have a close-knit group and will give us a hard time. We expect support from the curve, which has always been fundamental for us.”
