The progress of the English in the Champions League is different. After Aston Villa, it is Liverpool who jump to full points, at 9 points, in the standings and all thanks to the victory sealed by Darwin Núñez’s goal in the 27th minute. The Reds ran some risks, such as Openda’s goal which was later disallowed by VAR for offside, but in the end Slot took the victory and the three points in the third round of the UEFA European competition.
