Rome, the only certainty is Svilar: the Giallorossi club is working to lock him up until 2029

At a time when there are very few certainties in Roma, Mile Svilar it can be considered among the few glimmers of light of a horror show start to the season. Since the season began, he has recorded an 83.9% save percentage. Only Di Gregorio, Perin and Caprile were better than him, but they played fewer games. He is third in Serie A for clean sheets (3) and fourth for saves (25).

Meanwhile, talks have begun for the renewal of the contract which expires in 2027. The idea is to extend it until 2029 with a significant increase in salary, bringing it from the current 800 thousand euros to around 2 million. A way to reward the goalkeeper, who since he was promoted to number one by Daniele De Rossi has always been synonymous with guarantee.

The club, however, wants to lock it down to avoid the attack of foreign teams. Last season he was targeted by Wolverhampton and West Ham. But De Rossi had put him on the untransferable list and didn’t move from Trigoria. This is written by today’s edition of The Messenger.
