For La Gazzetta dello Sport the Croatian coach scores 5.5 on his report card: “Set at 3, sometimes he defends at 4. He changes often, but the problem is that Roma are without offensive ideas. The ending is a continuous, sterile and useless turnover.” Same vote from Tuttosport: “Since with the three-man defense with Inzaghi they almost always lose, Roma lines up with a 4-2-3-1 which becomes a 4-4-1-1 in the defensive phase with nice narrow lines. The result, however, does not change …”.
