Juric’s report cards – Roma changes often, but is without offensive ideas

One point in the last two days for Ivan Juric on the Roma bench, with the Giallorossi struggling a lot to find a way to score. Eight goals in as many days, one of the worst offensive departments in the championship. For La Gazzetta dello Sport the Croatian coach scores 5.5 on his report card: “Set at 3, sometimes he defends at 4. He changes often, but the problem is that Roma are without offensive ideas. The ending is a continuous, sterile and useless turnover.” Same vote from Tuttosport: “Since with the three-man defense with Inzaghi they almost always lose, Roma lines up with a 4-2-3-1 which becomes a 4-4-1-1 in the defensive phase with nice narrow lines. The result, however, does not change …”.

6 is the vote we find on Corriere dello Sport: “His Roma held their own against Inter until Lautaro’s goal, the result of two gross errors first by Zalewski and then by Celik. The team has some good opportunities that it fails to exploit, and this is the big problem highlighted in the other ones too challenges: the lack of cynicism and coldness in front of goal.”

The grade in the registered report cards instead was 5.5 TMW: “Defensively, an encouraging performance in a match in which a couple of individual errors proved fatal. There is a lot to do, however, in terms of danger.”
