Cagliari-Torino 3-2, the report cards: Scuffet exalts himself on Adams, Linetty scores after two years

Final result: Cagliari-Turin 3-2

Cagliari’s report cards (by Antonino Sergi)
Scuffet 7 – A series of well-defused and non-irresistible conclusions, however, can do nothing about Sanabria’s header and Linetty’s right-footed shot. He has no major faults. The final save on Adams was excellent and he also had a hand in the victory.

Hoe 6 – Nothing to complain about in the performance of Nicola’s side, first as an all-round full-back and then when he huddles with the centre-backs. Good at working in advance, present when there is something to offend.

Mine 6 – For large stretches of the match he was the insurmountable obstacle for Torino’s attackers, with only one error on Sanabria’s goal. He was preceded by the Paraguayan who re-established parity three minutes after Viola’s lead. From 63′ Palomino 6.5 – In the right place at the right time, on the first ball he sends the ball to the bottom of the bag.

Luperto 7 – A pair now perfectly established with Mina, it becomes difficult for the opposing center forwards to face them. He works well physically, he also works well in advance. Always concentrated and it was his assist for Palomino’s goal.

Augello 5.5 – Having trouble compared to Zappa along his lane, Lazaro often finds ways to put him in difficulty. He loses the close duel with the Granata winger.

Makoumbou 5.5 – He tries to take his team by the hand but often gets the timing of the play wrong, it’s not his best game. At times he appears awkward, postponed this evening. From 80 Deiola sv.

After 5.5 – The Granata midfield is better than that of the Sardinians, they struggle to make their muscles count in close-quarters duels. He tries in the second half with his right foot without looking at goal. From the 63rd minute Gaetano 6 – Good impact with the challenge.

Zortea 5.5 – First he was deployed as a tall winger, but he was never able to become a protagonist in the offensive zone. Few balls played, few initiatives on the wing for the former Atalanta player.

Purple 7 – It is immediately clear that it is the day and above all in confidence, a series of plays that mess up Torino’s plans and Coco who gets a yellow card to stop him. Then he thinks about it with his specialty, the free kick. From 63′ Lapadula 6 – He puts perseverance and desire into the siege before the advantage.

Luvumbo 6 – He earns the pass with movement and evading Milinkovic-Savic’s view of Viola’s winning free kick, otherwise he never manages to light up in spaces. From 46′ Marin 6.5 – Enter and give those geometries that were missing in the middle of the field.

Small 7 – Lots of dirty work, Cagliari relies on the broad shoulders of their center forward who doesn’t find a way to score but is more than valuable for his offensive play and maneuvering.

Davide Nicola 7 – The first at home has arrived, Cagliari gets rid of the boulder in a spectacular match full of emotions. It strikes the desire to seek success, as well as the desire to protect the result in the final assaults. He gets all the moves right, then Scuffet also does his part to secure a platinum success.

Turin’s report cards (by Antonino Sergi)
Milinkovic-Savic 6 – He conceded three goals in the afternoon in Cagliari, was surprised by Viola’s free kick but Luvumbo’s movement disorientated him. Great save on Viola at the start of the second half, he can’t do anything on Palomino and Coco.

Walukiewicz 5.5 – In the right place at the right time, until Cagliari’s equalizer. Surprised by Palomino at the end, he passes in front of him and deposits a corner into the net.

Coco 4.5 – The free kick from which Viola’s goal was born will cause discussion, the foul is conceded and the Granata central defender does not commit it. He immediately gets a yellow card, not on the day and the own goal confirms this.

Masina 6 – The Cagliari striker uses his skill to contain Piccoli, who is always a rather uncomfortable prospect when he protects with his back to goal. Still play a good game.

Lazaro 6.5 – He’s up to three assists this season, and it’s only just begun. The former Inter winger draws from the flag for Sanabria’s winning header at the end of the first half. His crosses are always poisonous. From 83′ Dembele sv.

Curls 6.5 – The transfer rumors are certainly not distracting him, hair in the wind and always with his head held high in managing Torino’s dribble. Elegant, but when needed it can also be rough.

Linetty 7 – He hadn’t scored for almost two years, he was waiting for the captaincy to find great joy again. A stone from distance that breaks the tie, full court until exhaustion. From 76′ Gineitis sv.

Vlasic 5 – A discordant note for Vanoli, he plays to try to act as a glue between midfield and attack but doesn’t shine. He also tries two conclusions, both strangled. It’s not the best version. From 83′ Karamoh sv.

Vojvoda 6 – Test of balance for Vanoli’s side, he pushes and folds to lend a hand to the defensive phase. Good performance, few errors and lots of running to the left.

Adams 6 – It starts off reasonably well, but drops off over time. He fails to be dangerous in the confrontation with Luperto, in the final he tries the equalizer but a super Scuffet denies him the joy of the goal.

Sanabria 6.5 – He has to replace Zapata and scores a Zapata goal, in the only real opportunity he gets he manages to capitalize to the max with a great header, the Colombian’s specialty.

Paolo Vanoli 6 – He comes out defeated in the match against Cagliari, the absences weigh on him but the defensive errors and a bad day for Coco ruin the plans. He tries until the end with desire and quality, even Scuffet gets involved. Positive signs despite the result.
