The Turin coach, Paolo Vanoliwas interviewed by Sky Sports after the daring defeat suffered at home to Cagliari. These are his declarations: “We have to be more careful. We were good at equalizing and recovering, then after taking the lead we suffered Cagliari’s skill on dead balls. I asked my team to play a man’s game, they did it. However, we have to be better, smarter and more focused. The team’s performance was excellent, and we haven’t had a result in a while, we’ve been rewarded a lot at times and now less so.”
How to improve the defensive phase?
“We improve by working, also given the many changes we have made in the squad compared to last year. Up front, Adams and Sanabria did really well tonight. We need to improve in the defensive phase, because we lose men or are not very attentive. There is missing that something extra that we all have to give, even more so in this period of absences and difficulties”.
