Team Altamura, Di Donato: “We were missing a little bit of nastiness, today less beautiful and dirtier”

Daniele Di Donatocoach of Team Altamura, analyzed the victory obtained against Latina. These are his statements, taken from LatinaCorriere.it: “We’ve been playing well for a period of time – the coach began -, we lacked that bit of malice to not always lose. We were supposed to be less beautiful but dirtier. Leonetti and D’Amico did an extraordinary job which is not theirs, I knew I was facing a team in difficulty like us and we were good at taking advantage of the opportunities. The result could have been more rounded.

Revenge given the way we broke up? I don’t consider it a double victory, I don’t hold grudges, you have to accept all the decisions. I played for Altamura and for the boys. Reluctantly I accepted and bit the bullet but I have nothing to reproach anyone for, the company has the right to make choices and takes responsibility for them. Why didn’t I celebrate with the team? I wanted to have respect towards the city, with Ciccio (Andrea Esposito, ed.) we didn’t celebrate with the team but we returned immediately. I couldn’t pretend nothing happened, I’m proud to have been part of this reality”, he concluded.
