Daniele Orsatoa former referee who finished his professional activity at the end of the last sports season, was a guest yesterday in Abruzzo in Sulmona and Pratola Peligna to speak with high school students from the two cities. Here are some of his statements: “I don’t even know what I will do in the future, I will certainly be available to the Italian referees. I don’t even want to be a referee because I’m not interested. Instead, I know how to teach the referees. It’s not presumption because I’m capable of putting the my experience at the service of young people”. Orsato – who ended his career with the 2024 European Championships – has therefore removed the possibility of holding positions abroad (there had been talk of Russia) but also the candidacy for president of The Hague.
