Inter loses a piece of 90: Zielinski will miss (at least) the match against Roma

Bad news for Simone Inzaghi three days before the match against Roma. The coach of Italian champion Inter for the big match on the eighth day of Serie A will have to do without Piotr Zielinski, the Polish midfielder who picked up an injury during the last match played in the Poland shirt. As soon as he returned to Italy, Zielinski underwent clinical and instrumental tests at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano which gave this result. “The tests showed an elongation of the flexors of the right thigh. The player will be evaluated day by day.”

His absence in the match against Roma is certain. Recovery for the Champions League match against Young Boys next week is possible but not a given: the biggest doubt for the trip to Bern is linked to the fact that in Switzerland it will be played on synthetic surfaces, a pitch that could lead to Inter not to take any further risks. Also because, after the away match in the Champions League, Inter will return to the pitch in Serie A against Juventus.

In recent days, Zielinski expressed himself as follows about these first weeks under the orders of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi: “How is Inzaghi as a coach? Good, very good. Tactically he is very prepared, he is a bit crazy. He gets very agitated on the bench about everything, he shouts a lot: then at the end of the match he always remains voiceless. Inzaghi talks a lot with us players , gives us a lot of instructions.”
