Florian Thauvincaptain of Udinese, interviewed by the well-known streamer Zack Nani, told some episodes of his adventure at Marseille, revealing some very particular details about Dimitri Payet (teammate at OM) and Vincent Labrune (president of OM since 2011 to 2016).
On the relationship with Payet: “He stabbed me in the back. He preferred to criticize me in front of everyone and grabbed the stick that everyone offered him. I told him “listen, I’m happy to know that you have a problem with me because I didn’t know. (…) From that moment on, we stopped talking while 3 months of competition remained. I met him a year and a half ago, by chance, at the Monaco Grand Prix and he came alone to shake my hand and I think it was his way of saying “Flo, I screwed up”. We know that with Dimitri we won’t go to eat together at the restaurant every day but we need to know how to forgive in the past”
On the farewell to OM and the affair linked to the president: “We had arranged to meet to discuss, we almost came to blows. After the match, he calls me and says that I should leave because otherwise the club will go bankrupt. And then I start to feel guilty and I tell him no. The next day he calls me and tells me that the private jet is there. I confront Vincent Labrune. We really love each other but we have reached a point where we meet on the phone to discuss. We have gone so far that we both wanted to come to blows We hang up ready to get in the car. My wife tells me to calm down. Vincent calls me back after 15 minutes and says, “Flo, sorry.
