Simeone: “Mister Conte reminds me a lot of my dad Diego. He only has Napoli on his mind”

Giovanni Simeone, Napoli strikerin recent hours he spoke to the microphones of Radio CRC to delve deeper into some topics relating to the current season for him and for the Campania club. Which seems to have received new life after the arrival of Antonio Conte on the bench: “The coach only has Napoli in mind, he reminds me a lot of my father Diego because he has a strong passion for football: he sees everything, he senses things that others they don’t see and this comes from his experience and the number of hours spent working in this sense. He is a strong coach, he makes you understand immediately when it is right to attack and when it is time to defend.”

And again: “The most important thing about the motto ‘Amma fatigue’ is to enter into the coach’s mentality: you have to really work hard all day to do what he asks of you, the moment you enter into his mentality the body quickly adapts to the work he wants to do At the beginning, however, it was tough, especially in the training camps. The coach always wants to change the style based on the qualities of the players: each one is different from the other, so the team is strong because it doesn’t have just one strategy but many difficulties for the opponents and it gives us strength to find new solutions based on the coach and the opponent. This is beautiful and interesting, for us footballers it’s nice to change because in this way we exploit all the coach’s ideas.”
