Red increased to almost 200 million, turnover and costs decreasing: Juventus’ balance sheet

In the past few hours, Juventus has published the complete consolidated financial statement, closed on 30 June 2024. and from which important information can be drawn on the state of health of the Juventus club and its economic turnover.

The red has increased and almost touches the ceiling of 200 million euros (-199.2): a significantly worse result compared to the 2022/23 financial year, which closed with a negative result of 123.7 million. The Vecchia Signora’s turnover also fell: it fell to 394.5 million euros compared to 507.7 in the financial year ending 30 June 2023. A decline mainly attributable to the company’s failure to participate in UEFA competitions last season.

On the other hand, however, there are also positive aspects that come to light. For example, costs have decreased and dropped to 569.9 million euros in the current operating budget against 606.9 in the 2022/23 season. Much of the credit goes to the work to reduce the amount of wages, which fell by 15%. And the auditing firm Deloitte did not reveal any findings regarding the Old Lady’s financial statements. A special parenthesis also goes to some specific costs, such as the provision of almost 20 million euros for the issues of Ronaldo and Allegri.
