The Lazio winger’s goal came on the assist of Eriksen, a former Inter and Tottenham playmaker now playing for Manchester United: “For him it’s everyday life, but for me it’s fantastic to play alongside someone like him . How easy and how nice is it to play with it?
“It’s a gift for an attacker to have a player like him. I saw that the defense wasn’t paying attention and that Eriksen was looking at me. The defenders must be really angry about that goal, because it was easily avoidable.”
What sensations did you experience?
“It was nice to score my first goal for the national team anyway. I’m happy to be part of it and it’s a dream to be able to help the team move forward.
