Racism, threats and the shadow of betting. The Federal Prosecutor’s Office investigates Olbia

Racism, threats and the shadow of bets could overwhelm Olbia and in particular the local football club, relegated to the amateur ranks at the end of the last Serie C championship.

In fact, according to what was reported by The Republic the Federal Prosecutor’s Office would have opened an investigation into the Sardinian club after the report of a member of the team who via PEC told the Prosecutor’s Office about acts of racism carried out by some players towards their black teammates which would also be documented with video and audio . Furthermore, threats would have emerged to those who rebelled against such behaviour. With the hypothesis, still to be clarified, that behind all this there is a ring of illicit betting.

In this testimony we talk in particular about one person: Ninni Cordamanager with a long militancy in C and D, fired a year ago byAlexandria after the accusations of usury and with a past also a disqualification of one year and three months for two match-fixing, who at the moment is not a member of the club but always present in the universe of the first team as a consultant for Swiss Pro, a company that has acquired the training shares in November last year.

The first hearings by federal investigators are expected within a few days to shed light on the matter.
