The salary deadline is arriving. Penalties on the horizon for two clubs

If for Serie A and B the day on which the deadlines for contractual emoluments expire are little more than normal administration, in the universe of Serie C the situation is very different. This is because on more than one occasion third-tier companies have had difficulty fulfilling certain obligations.

Why are we talking about this topic? Because by the end of today the clubs will have to document to the FIGC the payment of all emoluments as well as the IRPEF withholdings, Enpals and Career End Fund contributions due, until the end of the first two-month period 1 July/31 August 2024. These requests, if not complied with, will lead to the application of a sanction equal to at least 2 penalty points in the ranking.

This deadline affects, in particular, two companies: Ternana And Taranto. For the former, the penalty is already practically certain given that it was the same management of the Fere to admit it. A different story, however, for the Ionian club which saw the resignation of At the beginning of the season Maximus Jupiter and the contextual need to find a buyer for the majority shares. To date, the property has limited itself only to managing normal administration, within which the above deadlines are part, but without giving any type of communication in this regard.

A decision that left a big question mark and the fear that a few days after the first victory of the season a penalty could arrive which would effectively eliminate every step forward made by the team coached by Carmine Gautieri.
