Udinese, Inler: “Thauvin deserves what he is getting. He is a silent leader”

Gokhan Inlerhead of Udinese’s technical area, in his interview with TV12, also spoke about Thauvin, the true protagonist of this beautiful start to the Bianconeri’s season: “Florian is a very good boy who deserves what he is getting. Last year it was difficult for him; I spoke to him a lot and we could see that he was always committed from day one. When he has his mind free, he is a great leader, silent but important because I see that too well in his role.”

Words then also on Brenner: “The discussion about him is important. It was known that last year he had problems not playing much. It’s something I care about and that’s why I’ve always been sincere and strict with him. He’s making sacrifices every day, yes he coaches well and knows that this year we are counting on him. Now we have two game systems, 3-4-3 and 3-5-2, and we see him as more offensive because he has incredible quality we have to find his rhythm well, but we know he can still give a lot.”

Inler’s thoughts on Luccacalled up to the national team by Luciano Spalletti and on the pitch in last night’s match against Israel at the Bluenergy Stadium: “Lucca deserves this debut, last year on an individual level he did well and this year we are trying to develop him even more because he has the skills to become a great striker.”
