Italy, what’s new in November? Spalletti: “Baldanzi is strong. Chiesa can still make the difference”

What can you tell us about this new cycle that started with young players who are giving comforting answers? This is one of the questions asked at the press conference Luciano Spallettitechnical commissioner of the national team who at the end of Italy-Israel 4-1 he responded like this: “At the moment we have shown that we have reliable players, but the Under 21 team is full of young talents who can emerge, we have strong midfielders there too. We have players in the youth national teams who give us hope for the future. Now a new possibility has opened up for the national team, Maldini has only played a few minutes but has shown that he knows how to do everything did something in zero seconds with great strength. Then he has this ease of dribbling: he’s physical, he has speed, when he puts his face in front of you you can’t catch him again.”

And again: “We have many strong young players, Baldanzi is there, there are those we left at home that we can bring and can still make a difference like Chiesa. Zaniolo didn’t come on tonight but now he works in Italy with a coach who we know will give him stuff we now glimpse a glimmer of future possibilities.”
