Ché Adams: “Turin arrived at the right time to get out of the comfort zone”

Revelation of Paolo Vanoli’s new Torino, Scottish striker Ché Adams was the protagonist of an interview directly from his national team’s retreat. During the question and answer, the footballer born in ’96 also spoke about his first weeks with the grenade shirt: “So far everything is going well and I hope we can continue like this. I’m enjoying every single moment. Obviously I’m happy to have started well, it was nice to score the first goal at home, it was an incredible feeling.”

Adams then focused on the negotiations between Southampton and Torino that took place last summer: “I knew there was some interest at the beginning of the summer, I let it develop and took some time to decide. The proposal came at a time that I thought was the right one, I’m grateful to have I took the opportunity. I think there was always the idea in my head of going abroad. I wanted to try something different, a career in football is short and you have to make the most of it. I got it.”

And finally: “I think it’s easy to stay in your comfort zone, where you know how to do best, but opening yourself up to something else and gaining experience is important”
