Sepe looks back on his years in Naples: “With Sarri, one-touch training was a spectacle”

The goalkeeper and captain of Salernitana Luigi Sepe he spoke on Radio TV Serie and also focused on his past, especially the years spent at Napoli with Maurizio Sarri: “I have faced so many strong attackers. In Sarri’s Napoli he was something exceptional in training. They did things that cannot be done tell Sarri he did one-touch training and it was something I will probably never see again.”

How have you seen the Naples environment grow too? Can it be repeated in Salerno with the necessary proportions?
“After years of Serie A, Napoli aimed for the Scudetto. Salerno made a lot of mistakes last year, now we have to get things back on track to bring it back to where it deserves. For the city, for the club and for the fans, it doesn’t deserve to be in Serie A. It must fight to stay in Serie A for many years.

What does it feel like to wear the captain’s armband in an important team with an important fanbase?
“It’s a beautiful thing but it shouldn’t distract from other more important things like having the right attitude and putting yourself at the service of the team. The armband is something more but I can say that there are 20 captains and we are a fantastic group.”
