Como-Parma, travel for ducal fans prohibited. “Measure for the protection of public order”

The prefect of How has already chosen: travel is prohibited for residents in the province of Parma. A decision taken at the invitation of the Analysis Committee for the Safety of Sporting Events, which suggested this measure after the problems that arose between Crusader fans and law enforcement at the Bologna station.

The prefect decided to adopt this measure, instructing the police commissioner to notify the relevant bodies and execute the provision. The sale of coupons to residents in the province of Parma will therefore be prohibited. This is an excerpt from the official note:

“Having recognized, therefore, the need to adopt suitable measures to ensure the protection of public order and safety during the sporting competition in question and to guarantee its regular conduct in order to prevent risk opportunities connected to the aforementioned sporting event, decrees to the reasons mentioned in the introduction, on the occasion of the Serie A football match Como-Parma, scheduled for Saturday 19 October at 3.00 pm, the following prescription is adopted: ban on the sale of coupons to residents in the province of Parma. The Police Commissioner is responsible for notifying all interested bodies and implementing this provision.”
