With a note from the president of Trapani Valerio Antonini commented on the honorary citizenship awarded to him by the Municipality: “The news of Trapani’s honorary citizenship fills me with pride. Since I arrived last year, thanks to my wife Ambra, I have felt my bond with the city growing day by day.
The investments made for the two teams so loved by the people of Trapanithe relaunch of the territory through strong advertising aimed at erasing years of lack of development that had saddened a wonderful city and its youth so eager to emerge, they have evidently made inroads into those who deal with public affairs.
The citizenship I receive makes me proud, but still of more responsible in carrying out present and future projects increasingly aimed at a Europeanisation of the city and a reawakening of the ardor and desire of young people to be able to realize themselves in their city.
I thank the entire municipal council for having strongly and with broad support wanted this important recognition, which is fundamental to give this citizenry that unique feeling value that must accompany these important recognitions.“
