Daniel Maldini in the national team, Pazzini: “As Spalletti said, he is a different player and can fit in”

TMW

In the long interview given to TMW on the sidelines of the Padel Pro Am Cup event in Viareggio, former striker Giampaolo Pazzini focused on various topics including new young attackers called up by Italy: “The history of the Maldini dynasty is beautiful. As Spalletti said, Daniel is a different player, who can fit in with Italy. Lucca is a prospect who can be of great use to the national team. I believe he can have great improvements.”

Did the national team restart after the victory against France?
“Starting again after a European Championship like this wasn’t easy. Spalletti is changing, he has good young players who have responsibilities and I expect very fast growth.”

What do you think of Kean at Fiorentina?
“He needed continuity and confidence, for an attacker it’s fundamental. He can still improve a lot but he has important physical means and he can see it.”

Did you expect such a decisive Gudmundsson?
“He plays between the lines, he is quick and quick, and has the right determination when he goes to finish. I expect him to be able to continue, he has the qualities to be able to do so.”
