Juve returns to the ECA assembly after four years, Scanavino: “It’s an opportunity to be there”

Maurizio ScanavinoCEO of Juventuswas joined by Sky on the occasion of the ECA assembly, held today in Athens. For the Juventus club, it is a date that marks a return after four years of absence: the Old Lady had in fact severed relations with the association of the main European clubs at the time of the Super League.

“It could be an interesting opportunity to experience the relationship with other clubs and talk about the present and future of football – Scanavino told the satellite broadcaster – even in this morning’s meetings there were opportunities to meet other colleagues and delve deeper into other issues of football played, but also of infrastructure, sustainability and the relationship with the social commitment that clubs must have. It is an opportunity for us to be within a system and an organization that has as its objective to develop the world of football.

Then there are some very concrete short-term elements, for example it is the ECA that is negotiating with FIFA the revenues for the FIFA World Club which for us is a reason of great interest, but not only for us, for small clubs and large.”
