The SSC Bari Generation project continues to grow unabated and presents itself at the starting line of the 2024/25 season with a total of 50 companies, including affiliates and licenseesincreasingly consolidating its presence in the area with important innovations. This year, in fact, the sports growth and training project has welcomed many new clubs into its large family, which not only represent Puglia, but also extend into regions such as Campania, Basilicata, Molise, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia, Abruzzo and Lazio.
Marcello Sansonettihead of the red and white youth sector: «As a true Bari native, I live with great pride these acclaim which comes from many regions as well as from our own Puglia and which testifies to the goodness of the Ssc Bari Generation project, strongly desired and supported by our president Luigi De Laurentiis. The initial objective of establishing itself as a reference company on the national territory is slowly becoming more and more a concrete reality; knowing that we can draw from a pool of over 10,000 young footballers for our sector is a guarantee of quality in the hope of being able to bring more and more talents into the squad of our First Teamas happened last year with Lops and Colangiuli.”
The project, aimed at enhancing boys and girls through values such as respect, loyalty, fun, friendship and teamwork, includes a series of initiatives, tournaments and training courses, with the participation and support of the Technical Coordinators SSC Bari Nino Armenise, Daniele Solombrino and the organizational representatives Marco Barci and Alessandro Lacarra, who will involve all the clubs until the end of the sports season.
The president Luigi De Laurentiis: «Young people are our future, and for us it is a source of great pride to see how many companies have chosen to renew or join our project for the first time. A project that not only aims at the technical growth of young footballers, but also at building a solid football culture. We are aware of the responsibility we have: to train the new generations towards a sport based on essential values such as fair play, on and off the pitch.”
The SSC Bari Generation project
The SSC Bari Generation project has been part of the large eco-system of the red and white youth sector since 2019 with over 20 regional and national clubs affiliated with the Club every season.
The objective of the project is to create collaborative relationships with high-profile companies that wish to share the path and objectives – both from a sporting and ethical/moral point of view -, to in turn become a point of reference for young people who want to practice this sport.
SSC Bari Generation offers the means, methods and knowledge necessary to allow its children a correct introduction to football through constructive playing opportunities from a technical, physical and moral point of view, in addition to its methodologies and its sporting beliefs to the clubs themselves , so that they can stand out in proposing their youth activity in their local area. In this way, the affiliated companies will become a point of reference for the Club in the territory in which they operate and will be able to update and develop their own training programs counting on constant collaboration and direct contact with the SSC Bari staff.
