Piacenza, new coach chosen. Team entrusted to Mister Parlato; the deputy will be Porcari

Official

It is with the official note that we report in full below, that the Piacenza “informs that it has entrusted the management of the technical guidance of the first team to Mr. Carmine Parlato. The role of assistant coach will be covered by Mr. Filippo Porcari, former technical collaborator.
Mr. Parlato will direct the training scheduled for today and will be presented to the press during a press conference of which the date and time will be announced later.”

Mister Parlato arrives after the dismissal of Mister Stefano Rossini, who was relieved yesterday of his duties as coach of the red and white first team, after a start to the season that the club considered below expectations: two victories in five matches, with a goalless draw in the last round, played against Progresso. Therefore, after a year – the coach arrived in November 2023 in place of Massimo Maccarone – Rossini’s Emilian adventure comes to an end.

Born in 1970, Parlato has won 5 Serie D championships under his belt, leading Rovigo, Pordenone, Padova, Rieti and lastly Trento, who has remained among the professionals since then; last year he was at the helm of Folgore Caratese, still in the fourth series, a team he then left last summer.
