By Carlo-Baldini, seventeen years later. In Serie A the kick in the butt, in Serie C the hug

It was August 26, 2007, and Parma-Catania took place in the Serie A championship, which ended 2-2. A mach that might seem anonymous, if it weren’t for an episode that occurred almost off the field: on the benches of the two teams sat Domenico Di Carlo, ducal side, and Silvio Baldini, Etna sideand the crime is right between them. After a rather lively argument, Baldini kicked his colleague in the buttan act that cost him five rounds of disqualification.

Then time passes, but fate had a very particular situation in store. Yesterday Ascoli-Pescara was played, a match won by the Abruzzo team of the aforementioned Baldini, with the irony of fate that Ascoli appointed Di Carlo as the new coach two days before the match. A hug between the two – immortalized on social media – closed the circle. Seventeen years later.
